Red Plant Light fluorescent tube for lighting aquariums, terrariums and vivariums with live plants. This light tube produces full-spectrum light with elevated red and blue wavelengths in order to optimize it for plants. As the light is purple and will somewhat distort the colors of the lighted object, in aquariums and terrariums this tube is best used in combination with white tubes. In plain horticulture situations the use of just red tubes is optimal.
