Thermostatic controlling unit for terrariums, vivariums, small greenhouses and aquariums where temperature must be controlled automatically and different daytime and night-time temperatures are required. This thermostat is suitable for controlling both HEATING and COOLING appliances. The unit also contains a timer controlled socket for lighting, ventilation fans etc. periodically used devices.

Temperature controlling range is 0 – 50°C (thermostat can control temperature between these values). Adjustable temperature control difference is 0,0 - 10,0°C (thermostat can be set to start heating or cooling 0,0 – 10,0°C below / above the target temperature; for example if the target temperature is 25,0°C, the unit can be set to start heating when temperature has dropped up to 10,0°C below 25,0°C, for example at 21,5°C. The unit is equipped with an Over Temperature Alarm, which will alarm if the actual temperature is 0,0 - 5,0°C above set value (in cooling mode) or below set value (in heating mode).

This thermostat can be programmed to maintain different temperature levels for daytime and night-time.

The I socket is for temperature controlling with different day / night temperatures. Can be used with HEATING or COOLING equipment.

The II socket is a timer with real-time clock, for controlling lights, humidifier, ventilation fan etc. The timer enables two “ON” periods per 24 hour period, for example lights can be programmed to be switched on between 8.00-12.00 and 14.38-18.50.

The unit has microprocessor control with LCD screen, external temperature sensor, and it can operate heating / cooling devices up to 1200W / 10A . The unit is suitable for universal European standard plug types F, C and E.

NOTE! This control unit is easy and logical to operate, but Temperature Limits settings can be mixed accidentally. When adjusting daytime / night-time temperature, do NOT hold < or > key down, but use separate pushes to adjust with 0,1°C steps. If < or > key is pressed for 5 seconds or more, the unit will switch to upper / lower temperature limits setting mode. If this happens, daytime / night-time temperature setting mode will not work properly if the intended temperature is outside the accidentally changed temperature limits. In order to return the default settings, press < key for more than 5 seconds and set the upper temperature limit to 50,0°C and repeat the same with > key and set the lower temperature limit to 0,0°C.
